Monday is the 20-year anniversary of one of the greatest UNC-Duke games ever. Stackhouse's reverse dunk. Jeff Capel's halfcourt shot. A great UNC team against a struggling Duke team without coach Mike Krzyzewski. Those involved remember like it was yesterday.

Just when all seemed lost for Duke the Blue Devils used a flurry of 3-pointers down the stretch to stun the previously unbeaten Virginia Cavaliers 69-63.

Some of the first words out of Roy Williams' mouth following the North Carolina Tar Heels’ 78-68 overtime loss at Louisville on Saturday were these: “They kicked our rear end.”

NC State guard Trevor Lacey hit a 3-pointer as time expired in overtime to give the Wolfpack an 81-80 win against Georgia Tech after it had blown a 14-point first half lead. A pair of missed free throws by the Yellow Jackets with 4.9 seconds left set up the buzzer-beater.

It wasn’t just Florida International’s 13-of-21 blitz from behind the three-point arc that beat Charlotte Saturday night, said 49ers interim head coach Ryan Odom.

Davidson led by 13 points at halftime, only to see that advantage quickly vanish early in the second half.
