There are no style points for November wins in college basketball. And that’s a plus for Duke, which won without its A-game 74-54 against Temple.

The Charlotte 49ers are playing – yet again – for the championship of another early-season basketball tournament on Sunday.

The Davidson and North Carolina men’s basketball teams will stretch the definition of a “neutral” court when they play Saturday at 2 p.m. at Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Arena.

The North Carolina vs. Davidson basketball game at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, is available only on Time Warner Cable digital tier channel 323.

Duke’s Rasheed has settled into his role as the Blue Devils’ defensive specialist, primarily, and a passing guard on the other end of the floor.

The Charlotte 49ers’ future got bumped into the here-and-now Thursday.
