Like to travel in luxury? You may want to make your first stop the Duke Mansion on Thursday evening.
The Charlotte mansion, at 400 Hermitage Road, will host Mann Travels' annual Luxury Travel Show. The 5:30-8 p.m. event, free and open to the public, will feature representatives from upscale vacation packages as well as cruise lines. Companies participating include Abercrombie & Kent, Adventures by Disney, American Express Vacations, AMA Waterways, Azamara and Celebrity Cruises, Classic Vacations, Crystal Cruises, Holland America Line, The Homestead Resort and Spa, Oceania, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Yachts of Seabourn, Silversea Cruises, Travel 2 and Uniworld.
Seminars by some participants will be offered on the half-hour. Valet parking is provided; hors d'oeuvres will be served.
