A 22-year-old Lenoir woman was killed and five other people injured early Monday in a one-vehicle Caldwell County wreck.
The victim is identified as Amanda Marie McKinney.
Lenoir police say the 2000 Hyundai being driven by McKinney went off Southwest Boulevard, hit a guardrail, and went down an embankment. The wreck happened about 2:45 a.m. Monday near Bradford Mountain Road.
McKinney and a passenger were thrown from the vehicle. The other passengers had to be freed from the wreckage by rescue workers.
