By Steve Lyttle

One person was killed in a single-vehicle wreck Tuesday night in Chester County.

The S.C. Highway Patrol said a man died when he apparently lost control of the vehicle on Hunter Road, about two miles south of Richburg.

The wreck happened about 8:20 p.m. The victim, whose name was not released by troopers, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.

The Rock Hill Herald said it was told that the driver went off the right side of the road, over-corrected, and then went off the left side of Hunter Road. The truck overturned, and the victim died at the scene.

The Rock Hill Herald contributed.
