More Information

  • While driving, focus on any cars that appear to be following you. If you feel uncomfortable, do not drive home. Go to a busy place and call 911 from your car.

When you are at an intersection, look for anyone who appears to be loitering. Stay in the inner lanes. This makes you harder to approach.

Keep the windows closed and the doors locked at all times.

Back into parking spaces. This gives you more time to get away if you are approached by a stranger.

Remember, your car is not worth your life. Give up the car, get away and call 911.
