A 46-year-old woman who walked away from a Cleveland County assisted living center last Wednesday remains missing this morning.

Tang Mouy was last seen about 7:15 a.m. Wednesday in a parking lot at Burns High School near Lawndale. That is a short distance away from Unique Living assisted living center, between the towns of Lawndale and Fallston.

Authorities searched for the woman Wednesday, Thursday and early Friday. Officials from the sheriff's office say searchers combed through a wooded area near the facility and went door-to-door, checking with residents. The search was scaled back later Friday.

Authorities describe Tang as an Asian woman, 5 feet 4 and 128 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, and she was wearing beige capris and a white shirt. She has undisclosed medical conditions that require medication.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call deputies at 704-484-4822.
