    WCNC Charity Homes Tour:

    Two furnished houses, located at 5735 and 5718 Tufton Brae Court, will be open for touring from 12 noon to 6 p.m. today and Sunday and Wednesday through next Sunday.     9:30 a.m.: Join 35-plus-year organic gardener and author Wendy Johnson at Wing Haven Gardens and Bird Sanctuary on Ridgewood Avenue in Charlotte for a morning of practical organic gardening and a reading from her book, "Gardening at the Dragon's Gate." Johnson, an advocate in the local foods/sustainable gardening movement, also serves as an adviser to the Chez Panisse Foundation's Edible Schoolyard project in Berkeley, Calif. $10 for members; $15 for others.
