Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in Belmont hosts Fall Family Festival in conjunction with the opening weekend of the “Something's A-Flutter” butterfly display. Garden Conservancy's open days

Plant sale by master gardeners

Master Gardeners bring their favorite home garden plants and flowers to sell at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market on Yorkmont Road, Building A. They'll also answer gardening questions. Starts 8 a.m. today.

Garden club's fall bulb sale

The Charlotte Garden Club's Fall Bulb Sale begins today and lasts through Oct. 11. Hours vary. Proceeds go to the Mint Museum for landscaping.

Arrange the bulbs and flowers

Haskell Eargle will arrange bulbs and flowers from the Charlotte Garden Club's Fall Bulb Sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Mint Museum on Randolph Road.
