Cost of today’s typical wedding:

Photography: $3,000 and up

Cinematography: $2,000 and up

Music: $300-$700 for ceremony; $1,200 and up for DJ; $4,000 and up for bands

Flowers: $4,000 and up

Cake: $700 and up

Consultants: $2,000-$5,000 and up, or percentage of wedding costs

Reception: $15,000 and up

Transportation: $300 and up

Wedding Attire: $1,000 and up

Clergy: $300 and up

Newspaper Announcements: $115-$1,885

Stationery: $400-$2,000

For a full-service wedding and a reception with an average of 150 guests, a bride

should be prepared to spend about $30,000 and up.
