Have a seat

Once your seating plan is made, your guests will need to know where they will be seated. Here are a few options to make sure everyone is in their right place:

Place cards can be used alone or with escort cards. They should be placed in alphabetical order near and entranceway, and include each guest's name and table number.

Escort cards, for more formal events, display each guest's name on an outer envelope, and the table number on the inside. Guests will find place cards indicating seating arrangement at the designated tables.

A seating chart is an alphabetical list of guests' names and their table numbers. It can be displayed in a pretty frame near the entrance to the reception area.
