Here's some tips about getting your guests out on the dance floor:

• Swing music has a cool tempo that’s enjoyed by many. It’s great for dancing and is sure to be a great time for everyone.

• We’re in the South, so how about lining up your guests for some real country line dancing? Even the bashful will find ease in the numbers, and soon enough, they’ll be kickin’ up their heels along with you.

• Who says karaoke is only for nights uptown? You may be amazed at the talent that lies within your friends and family.

• Pick some tunes from the ’60s, ’70s or ’80s. Guests of ages all will share in the fun that can be pre-planned with your entertainment expert.

• Whether you choose to incorporate a full steel drum band, or get the tunes spinning from your DJ, reggae music is an especially great idea for a summer wedding, or just to get you in the island mood.
