Ballantyne

South Charlotte

Make your yard spectacular. The N.C. Cooperative Extension Service has a free seminar from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 17 at William R. Davie Park's Conference Center, 4635 Pineville-Matthews Road. Union County

Indian Trail's Nov. 3 ballot will ask voters whether to allow the town's first ABC store – along with asking approval for mixed drink sales.

The Indian Trail Town Council voted 4-1 Tuesday to add the ABC store item. Two weeks ago, the council agreed to let voters decide if town establishments can serve mixed drinks.

York County

The Charlotte Knights and

employmentguide.com will host a job fair 4-7 p.m. June 9 at Knights Stadium. Admission is $5, which includes a baseball game and free parking.
