Albemarle native and country music star Kellie Pickler appeared Friday on the Ellen DeGeneres Show's Halloween special dressed as her idol, Dolly Parton.
Pickler recently stated on her Twitter page that she has dyed her hair red, but a wig with the costume kept her own hair covered.
According to her Myspace blog, fans can also tune in to see Pickler lend a hand to build a new home for a deserving Ohio family on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which airs Nov. 8 on ABC. As the celebrity volunteer, the country starlet helps with the demolition and building process, as well as performs at the family's final and emotional reveal.
Pickler is also set to appear on the Country Music Association Awards on Nov. 11 on ABC.
Fans picked Pickler as country music's Most Beautiful Woman for the second year in a row, according to the Nov. 2 issue of Country Weekly magazine, which conducted the poll.
Pickler's newest single, "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You," from her self-titled sophomore album is currently climbing up the country charts.
