Charlotte-Mecklenburg police on Monday arrested a man and charged him with a 2007 murder.
Aaron Wood was 31when he was shot and killed in a cul-de-sac on Greenview Place, near Freedom Drive, in March 2007.
Witnesses at the time said a BMW with two men drove off after the shooting and police said they didn’t think the killing was a random act. But no one was arrested.
Now police have charged 33-year-old Michael Crowder of Monroe with the crime, but wouldn’t say what led them to him. They also didn’t say if they are seeking anyone else in connection with the killing.
