Salon M2
Salon M2, Charlotte's first "green" salon, has opened at The Village at Robinson Farm.
Salon M2 is reducing its carbon footprint by utilizing Freestyle's one-of-a-kind blow-drying system. Suspended from the ceiling, this drying system supports its own weight and turns on and off automatically when pulled up and down. This green technology extends the life of the blow dryers, which decreases landfill waste.
Salon M2 sells professional hair care and aromatherapy products by Eufora.
Where most hair care products use water-based products, Eufora uses organic aloe vera gel and is scented only with pure essential oils. Michele Matkovich, 31, and Sarah Mitchell, 34, Salon M2 owners and award-winning stylists, said they endeavor to "bring unparalleled, industry-leading and award-winning services to the people of Charlotte and surrounding areas while maintaining an eco-friendly approach and offering luxury product lines."
Salon M2 currently is offering a free haircut (a $65 value) with the purchase of any chemical service.
