Mecklenburg County is reminding thousands of property owners publicly this weekend that they still owe money on their 2010 taxes.
Information about tax bills is available throughout the year on the county's website. But state law also requires local governments to publish a list of delinquent tax bills in newspapers to notify individuals and businesses that they owe money. Mecklenburg plans to run its advertisement in the Observer on Sunday for bills that were unpaid as of Feb. 28. Read below to learn more about what's included in the ad.
