Charlotte couple and their quads on 'GMA'

By Karen Garloch

'Good Morning America' has postponed its segment on Miranda and Josh Crawford, the Charlotte couple who gave birth to quadruplets in February. The televised interview that had been scheduled for today, is now scheduled for Friday, April 15. The show airs on WSOC-TV, Channel 9.

The Crawfords were interviewed and photographed Wednesday morning at their Steele Creek home by Claire Shipman, an ABC correspondent who flew to Charlotte from the network’s Washington, D.C., bureau.

The quadruplets were concieved after in vitro fertilization and implantation of two embryos into Miranda Crawford’s uterus last summer. Both embryos split, producing two sets of identical twins, in what fertility experts say is an extremely rare occurrence.
