Even though traditional cakes are a wedding staple, many brides are breaking the mold and trying something new. Inspire creativity with these fun options.

Cupcakes

Cupcakes are adorable – and they provide you with variety. Include an assortment of flavors, colors and designs.

Dessert Table

Instead of purchasing a towering cake, spread out the sweetness with a table of desserts. Include a rich variety or choose a theme. In the fall, include an assortment of pecan, apple and pumpkin pies. For summer, a colorful candy table is vibrant and fun.

Don’t be limited to one table of desserts. If efficiency is key, smaller cakes can double as centerpieces. Mingling will come naturally among guests as they peruse the different options.

Healthy Options

If healthy eating is on your priority list, you may opt for fruit desserts. Fruit tarts or pastries are delicately sweet, or decorate a table with presentations of luscious fresh fruit to pair with creamy custard or sorbet.

Traditional wedding cakes are beautiful, but consider your options and choose something you love.
