“My Name Is Anna” was named Best Student Film at the Van Wert Independent Film Festival in Ohio in July.
Charlottean Tara-Nicole Azarian wrote, directed and played the lead in the work, which she describes as “a narrative docudrama … designed to educate as it follows a young girl’s journey into the darkness of an eating disorder.”
Sibling Nicholas Azarian was director of photography and did set design.
