Giveaway: Puppet Play projects book!

Every one of us had a little pang of guilt - and annoyance - when we've had to discard those eternally mismatched socks, the towels with frayed ends, the solo mittens - right? Well, here's an idea - use them to make an array of puppets for your little ones to play with.

Many of the patterns in "Puppet Play," by Diana Schoenbrun, involve little more than cutting and gluing - so even the less crafty among us can rest easy.

Plus, the projects could fill more than a few rainy, cold weekends this fall and winter.

To win a copy of this book, just respond in the forums with a great idea for artsy-craftsy time with your kids. (We're partial to peanut butter play dough at my house.)

We have one copy to give away. Contest ends midnight next Wednesday, Sept. 7!
