Season 7 of HGTV's reality competition series "Design Star" needs its lineup of contestants -- and Charlotte residents have a shot this Friday.
Casting associate Lindsey Mckitterick says the show's producers are looking for passionate, charismatic people who are extremely creative and have major design abilities. Translation: interior designers, architects, contractors, artists and other design experts. Is that you?
The casting call is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Hyatt Place Charlotte/City Park. That's at 4119 S. Stream Blvd., Charlotte, 28217.
