Look like a zombie, just for the night

It's the season of the zombies, so why not learn how to become one? Crown Town Handmade, a local group of artistic entrepreneurs, will teach aspiring zombies how to apply totally terrifying makeup at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Plaza Muse, 1200 Central Ave.

The session is free, but you have to bring your own supplies. Necessary supplies include cheap makeup (Wal-Mart or Target Halloween palates will work) in shades of gray, green, black, brown, yellow, purple and (most importantly) white; black, blue and green eyeliner; red lip liner; mirror; towel; makeup sponges and clothes that can get dirty. Optional supplies include liquid latex, nose putty, baby powder, baby wipes and make-up brushes.

After getting zombied out, participants can do some reverse trick-or-treating and knock on doors to dole out candy. Details: facebook.com/ crowntownhandmade . Staff
