Prep Football Players of the Week

Rhaheim Ledbetter, Crest: 268 yards on 26 carries with two touchdowns in 35-28 win over Charlotte Catholic. Ledbetter also had several pass deflections and an interception on defense.

Marquez North, Mallard Creek: Caught a 79-yard touchdown pass and had an 82-yard kick return for another score in the Mavericks' 40-27 loss to Greensboro Page.

Chris Duffy, Porter Ridge: Interception with 48 seconds left sealed a 34-28 win over Mooresville. One week earlier, Duffy's 84-yard kick return was the difference in a 31-28 win over Mount Tabor.

Dinkin Miller, West Rowan: Career-high 266 yards rushing and three scores in 33-7 win at Burns. West Rowan had 438 yards of total offense, while his defense forced six turnovers. Burns had 97 yards rushing in 27 carries.

Lincolnton defense: Held Thomasville's Shaquan Johnson, the state's leading rusher, to 61 yards in a 26-0 win. Johnson finished the year with 3,144 yards. Thomasville was averaging nearly 31 points per game.

Dee Littlejohn, Lincolnton: 150 yards rushing and two touchdowns against Thomasville. He broke the Lincoln County single season rushing and scoring marks.
