Volunteer Joey Kendelhardt sorts through rubber duckies Tuesday at the Salvation Army Christmas Bureau, which received more than 300 ducks Wednesday in response to an Observer article about a shortage of stocking stuffers.
"It’s a confirmation of the big heart of this city,” said Sally Weiss, head of the Christmas stocking program.
