A photo caption on the front page of Wednesday's paper misspelled the last name of Maria Hanlin, executive director of Mecklenburg Ministries.

A headline for a story on page 2B of Sunday's Local & State section implied that Kwanzaa ended Saturday. The seven-day event ended Sunday.

Because of a typographical error, an item in the Sports section Wednesday incorrectly described an injury to NBA player Baron Davis, a guard for the NewYork Knicks. Davis has been troubled by a herniated disk in his back.
