One week of healthy meals for 4? Under $100!

01/06/12 10:01

Hi, I'm Alison. I'm a health coach by day who enjoys cooking and searching for deals in my spare time. I have been couponing and meal planning for over two years now. Many of my friends and family would tell me that they wanted to save money on groceries and cook easy, healthy meals but didn’t have the time or patience to plan and clip coupons. I've created www.coupon-kitchen.com just for that purpose! Each week I feature a menu of seven easy and healthy dinners based on the sales at the store - for $50 or under! The menus are based on two people, but can easily be adjusted to fit a larger family.

Coupon Kitchen features menus for Harris Teeter, Bi-Lo and Lowes Foods. Of those three, Harris Teeter is the most commonly visited store in this area, so I'll share those here. But you can link to the menus for Bi-Lo and Lowes, too.

Click on the meals below for the recipe. There is also a coordinating shopping list for the items needed for each meal. If you’re new to this, start small by picking a few meals to try and work your way up to all seven.

It’s Super Doubles at Harris Teeter so any coupon $1.98 or below is double the value! The subtotal for this week’s menu is $48.
