New drink helps kids sleep, despite cough
But parents are often stumped about whats the safest and most effective way to treat this common problem.
A new drug-free, honey-based remedy called Zarbees Nighttime Cough and Sleep Drink could make getting a good nights sleep easier. Its made with buckwheat honey, a home remedy your grandmother probably used but which has also been shown in clinical studies to relieve coughs.
Theres also some Vitamin C, zinc and elderberry included to help boost the immune system. But the ingredient that really does the trick is a small amount of melatonin, which may naturally help the young and restless drift off to sleep.
Parents will appreciate that the gluten-free, grape-flavored drink contains no alcohol, drugs or dyes. A six-dose pack costs about $9 and is available at Walgreens, Kmart, Kroger and other retailers. For more information, visit www.zarbees.com.
