Dance duo Boombox returns to the Neighborhood Theatre on Saturday.

Want to go out after dark? Here are my top nightlife picks for this week:

Today: Club goers get triple the spins when three Charlotte-based DJ's - the in-demand DJ Row$hay, California transplant DJ M-Vee, and South African native DJ Daniels Jack - hit Suite's (210 E. Trade St.) weekly Level Wednesday party. Doors open at 10 p.m. Call 704-971-7878 to reserve VIP tables; www.suitecharlotte.com.

Thursday: Georgia rapper Pastor Troy headlines Boss Pimp's Winter Fest at Grady Cole Center (310 N. Kings Drive) on a Carolina-centric bill that includes MR 704, Jerz, Charlotte Boys, 'Lil Sleep, Hotface, Carlimodadon, Metal Roze, and others. 7 p.m. $15-$20. www.crowntickets.com.

Thursday: Though it looks more like the setting of an "Urban Cowboy"-style bar brawl, Coyote Joe's (4621 Wilkinson Blvd.) - the West side country bar better known for line dancing than submissions holds - transforms into a mini sports arena when MMA Cage Fights holds FightLab 20 for its 2012 kick-off event there. Among the 14 matches scheduled: Charles Wolff vs. Anthony Enclarde, Dominic Cruz vs. John Henning, Brock Ison vs. Denison Paiva, and Kevin Forant vs. Micah Lail. 7 p.m. $30. www.crowntickets.com; www.fightlabpros.com.

Saturday: Second-generation deadhead Zion Godchaux (literally - his mom was a member of the Dead) and musical partner Russ Randolph, who make up the dance duo Boombox, bridge dance floor funk and house beats with live rock instrumentation and an approach that crosses club culture and its psychedelic jam roots. The duo returns to the Neighborhood Theatre (511 E. 36th St.), where it's become a favorite on the calendar for its loose, body-moving sets. $10-$12. 704-358-9298; www.neighborhoodtheatre.com.
