A man, his wife and daughter are facing drug charges after authorities said they discovered the family selling prescription drugs from their Iredell County home.
The Iredell County Sheriff's Office said investigators believed a family that lived on Mathis Drive in Union Grove was selling prescription medications, particularly opiates such as Oxycodone.
Narcotics investigators conducted surveillance of the home and used an undercover officer to gather evidence against the family, according to the Sheriff's Office.
After a three-month investigation, authorities said, officers searched the home Tuesday and seized Oxycodone with an estimated street value of $800. Then, authorities arrested James Bryant Caudill, 41, and his wife, Kelly Dawn Caudill, 40. Authorities also arrested the couple's daughter Kayla Caudill, 21, who lives in the home. All were charged with maintaining a dwelling to sell a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, the Sheriff's Office said.
James Caudill was being held in Iredell County jail under a $15,000 bond while Kelly and Kayla Caudill were each being held under a $10,000 bond.
Also charged was Samantha Cash, 22, of Harmony. Authorities said she participated in the narcotics trafficking that began at the Caudill residence. She was arrested Wednesday and jailed under a $35,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing, authorities said, and more arrests could be made.
