The Bobcats really didn't think Gerald Henderson (back bruise) would play Friday, but he toughed it out. Probably didn't hurt that Henderson is from Philadelphia and this was the only road game against the 76ers this season.

The lineup changes - making Gana Diop and Boris Diaw starters - obviously were intended to add size and experience inside, after the Bobcats gave up 104 points in the lane their previous two games. Diop played fine early, but the Sixers - like everyone else in the NBA these days - had an easy time getting to the rim against the Bobcats.

Bobcats coach Paul Silas got himself ejected during the second quarter, and based on my Twitter account, many of you had the same thought I did: Who wouldn't want to get himself tossed from a display like the first half?

Tonight against the Washington Wizards feels like a must-win. It's the only home game among six on the road and the West Coast beckons. If they don't win tonight, it could be at least another week of consecutive losses.
