Armed men rob Granite Falls store

GRANITE FALLS, N.C. – The Granite Falls Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a convenience store.

The incident happened at the Fast Stop on South Main Street around 6:30 Saturday morning. According to officials, two men with guns robbed the store and then one of the customers inside.

Police tell NewsChannel 36, they arrived on the scene and found that the customer had been injured by one of the gunman.

Reportedly, the gunmen kicked the male customer in his stomach and then struck him in the head with a pistol. The man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
