Authorities have identified a 26-year-old tourist from South Carolina who died aboard a Carnival cruise ship in the Bahamas last week.

Walter Bouknight died last Friday aboard the Fantasy Cruise Ship, according to reports. He was said to have jumped from one deck to the one below while the vessel was docked in Nassau.

He was declared dead at the scene.

The ship departed Charleston, S.C., on Wednesday for a five-day cruise.
