Lake Norman High

Curriculum Fair: 6-8 p.m. Feb. 21 at the school. Parents and incoming students for the 2012-2013 school year are encouraged to attend.

Mooresville High

District Honors Band: Ten members of the school's band were picked through auditions to perform with the South Central District Honors Band. The honorees are Katie Elkin (fourth chair flute), Natalie Haydt (sixth chair flute), Mary Caroline Gibson (15th chair clarinet), Alex Vaughn (fourth chair bass clarinet), Dillon Chambers (second chair alto sax), Mark Conley (fourth chair alto sax), Zach Verbos (second chair tenor sax) and Nick Phillips (first alternate bassoon) on the senior high band; and Sara Rich (13th chair clarinet) and Julianna Campbell (14th chair clarinet) on the high school band.

Freshman-Parent Night: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the school auditorium. Meeting for parents of incoming freshman students for the 2012-2013 school year.

Band Boosters Meeting: 7-8 p.m. Feb. 21 in the school's band room.

Brawley Middle
