More than 160 ladies stepped out in designer attire, danced, dined, and swapped a few (thousand) cookies. The first ever Chips for a Cause attracted over 160 cigar-smoking, poker-playing gentlemen, who later joined the ladies to dance the night away. The charity event founded by husband-and-wife team Elise A. Redmond and Doug Redmond, included the Redmonds 5-year-old daughter, Gracie, who collected 130 coats that evening for Channel 9s Steves Coats for Kids Program.Celebrity appearances included Ray Evernham, former pit crew chief to Jeff Gordon; Steve LeTarte, pit crew chief to Dale Earnhardt Jr.; Natalie Pasquarella and Steve Udelson of Channel 9; and Adrian Murrell, a former NFL great.
