A Concord family is asking the public's help to find a teenager who has been missing for a week, according to police.

Latasha Charles, 15, went missing after she left her home in Concord the evening of Jan. 27, Concord police said.

Police said her last known location was in Charlotte at the intersection of West Fifth and West Trade streets, which is also the intersection of Beatties Ford and Rozzelles Ferry roads. That's by the Johnson C. Smith University campus.

Police said Latasha, who also goes by the name Natasha Fowler, is a black female who is about 5-feet-7 and 240 pounds. She was last seen wearing black tights, black boots and a black button-down shirt. She has brown eyes and shoulder-length black hair.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Concord police at 704-920-5000.
