Matchup to Watch

Steve Nash vs. Kemba Walker: Nash might have passed 38, but he still knows how to make the game easy for everyone else. Definitely a challenge for rookie point guard Walker.

Observations

The Bobcats will be without shooting guard Gerald Henderson, who will miss two-four weeks with a right hamstring strain. Henderson's injury leaves them without their top three scorers. Point guard D.J. Augustin (inflamed big toe) and Corey Maggette (hamstring strain) still are out..

The Bobcats are on a four-game winning streak in the series with the Suns. They lost their first eight games against Phoenix.

Tap-ins

Ex-Bobcat Jared Dudley starts at shooting guard for the Suns, after starting his NBA career as a power forward.

Suns coach Alvin Gentry played for Appalachian State before starting his coaching career..

Did you know?

Nash is one of seven all-time NBA players to average at least 13 points for a season after the age of 38. Bobcats owner Michael Jordan also is on that list..
