BOSTON Jordan Daniels scored a career-high 19 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Boston College to a 64-60 victory over No. 15 Florida State on Wednesday night and snap the ACC-leading Seminoles' win streak at seven games.

BC (8-16, 3-7 ACC) had lost six in a row and nine of its previous 11. It had not beaten a ranked team in three years.

But the Eagles took the lead midway through the first half and fell behind only briefly in the second, running their lead to eight points and holding on.

Michael Snaer scored 16 for Florida State (16-7, 7-2). But he shot 6-for-18 from the floor and made one of seven 3-point attempts.

No. 2 Syracuse 64, No. 12 Georgetown 61 (OT): Kris Joseph scored a career-high 29 points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer in the final minute of overtime to give coach Jim Boeheim his 880th career win one more than North Carolina's Dean Smith and third place all time.

After going down 4 to start overtime, Scoop Jardine fed Joseph in the left corner, and he buried his career-best sixth 3 of the game with 29 seconds left.

Jardine sealed it after Joseph's go-ahead 3, by forcing a turnover by Jason Clark with 4.9 seconds to go.

No. 7 Kansas 68, No. 6 Baylor 54: Jeff Withey scored a career-high 25 points to help give the Jayhawks another convincing victory over Baylor.

After a 14-3 run over the final 41/2 minutes of the first , Kansas scored 14 consecutive points early in the second half to take complete control of the game.

No. 11 Michigan St. 77, Penn St. 57: Draymond Green had 23 points and 12 rebounds and made some timely shots to help the Spartans win and pull to within a game of Big 10 leading Ohio St., which they will matchup with Saturday pull away.

No. 19 Virginia 68, Wake Forest 44: Mike Scott made all nine of his shots and scored 19 points to lead the Cavaliers.

Leading by 21 at the break after scoring the final 12 points of the half, the Cavaliers put it away by hitting their first six shots of the second period and took a 52-21 lead.

No. 22 Michigan 62, Nebraska 46: The Wolverines outscored the Cornhuskers 15-4 to start the second half and went on to only their second win in six Big Ten road games. The Cornhuskers lost their third straight.

Connecticut: the university has proposed reducing the number of games it will play next season if the NCAA allows them to play in the 2013 tournament, according to a document obtained by The Associated Press

The school currently is barred from the NCAA tournament for years of below-standard academic results, but it requested a waiver last month.
