More Information

If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket, one of the world’s great shows of early spirituality opens today in Charlotte.

It’s called “The Museum of the Bible Exhibit,” and during its four-day run at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, area residents can peruse spiritual treasures dating back to Old Testament days. The exhibit is free, but the last reservations disappeared two weeks ago.

The highlight of the collection is one of the world’s oldest New Testaments – the “Codex Climaci Rescriptus,” believed to be 1,500 years old.
