Lady Antebellum announces N.C. shows
Country trio Lady Antebellum will play Charlotte and Raleigh during the summer leg of its 2012 Own the Night World Tour. Charlotte's show is set for June 9 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, a day after the band's concert at Raleigh's Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion June 8.
Former Hootie & the Blowfish vocalist-turned-country star, Darius Rucker, and husband and wife duo Thompson Square will open the show.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Those can be purchased at www.live nation.com , www.ticket master.com , by calling 1-800-745-3000 and at the venue box office.
Naomi Watts lands Princess Diana role
Jessica Chastain apparently has abdicated her throne, as Naomi Watts has been announced as our new on-screen Princess Diana.
Watts will lead "Caught in Flight" as the beloved, tragic figure, charting the final two years of her life. Oliver Hirschbiegel, best known for his film "Downfall," will direct. Los Angeles Times
Jolie: nervous about premiere in Bosnia
Angelina Jolie says she's nervous and excited about the upcoming premiere in Sarajevo of her Bosnian war movie "In the Land of Blood and Honey."
The film, which is showing at the Berlin International Film Festival on Saturday, is set to make its full debut in the Bosnian capital on Feb. 14.
Already released in the U.S., Jolie's directorial debut is a drama about a Serb soldier who finds his ex-lover, a Muslim Bosnian woman, among sex slaves in a camp. Associated Press
