The Hopewell girls claimed their third consecutive I-Meck regular-season championship last week. The Lady Titans, who won their last five games to finish 12-2 in I-Meck play, were aided by Mallard Creek, which defeated Hough in the regular-season finale. They both finished 11-3.
Teams compete in playoffsMooresville and Lake Norman earned spots in the 4A dual-team playoffs. Lake Norman was ousted in the first round.
