All Pro Dads Breakfast: 7:30-8:15 a.m. Feb. 17 at the school.

Kindergarten registration: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 2, Mooresville ARP Church, 659 Carpenter Ave., Mooresville. Parents of rising kindergarten students need to bring a certified copy of the child's birth certificate, proof of residents within the past 30 days (acceptable documents are utility bills or a lease agreement in the name of the child's legal guardian) and an immunization record.

Shepherd Elementary

Give Back Day: Feb. 16 and Feb. 23, Mooresville Sports Page, 128-D Argus Lane, Mooresville. A portion of the proceeds from receipts will go to the school. Mention to your server to save your receipt for the program.

Troutman Elementary

PTO meeting: 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at the school.

Woodland Heights Elementary

Winter Festival: 6-8 p.m. Feb. 17 at the school. Food provided by Brooklyn Boys.

Among the featured activities will be math-style bingo, a dance party and a silent auction for 40 themed gift baskets.

Statesville Christian

Book Fair: Through Feb. 17 in the school's middle school library for upper school students, Feb. 22-March 1 in the school's art classroom for elementary school students.

Iredell-Statesville Schools

Early college enrollment: Applications are currently being accepted from eighth-grade students for I-SS's Collaborative College for Technology and Leadership. The deadline is March 1.

VPAC enrollment: The I-SS Visual and Performing Arts Center High School is accepting applications from current eighth-grade students for the 2012-2013 school year. The deadline is March 15.
