Bobcats at Raptors

Matchup to Watch
Jose Calderon vs. Kemba Walker/D.J. Augustin: Calderon is turnover-prone, but he attacks the defense in a way that demands great footwork to counter in these times when you're not allowed to touch the ball-handler.
Observations
The Raptors have been without center Andrea Bargnani, the former No. 1 overall pick, for 18 games because of a left calf strain.
Coach Paul Silas indicated after the loss Wednesday at Minnesota that he'd likely bring point guard Augustin off the bench one more game before moving him back into the starting lineup.
The Bobcats played long stretches of the second half against Minnesota with Augustin and Walker playing together in the backcourt. That's harder to do against the Raptors because someone has to guard 6-foot-7 shooting guard DeMar DeRozan.
Tap-ins
James Johnson (Wake Forest) has settled in as Toronto's starting small forward, after an initial stint with the Chicago Bulls.
Ed Davis (North Carolina) plays off the bench for the Raptors.
Did you know?
Center Jamaal Maglore is playing for his hometown Raptors. He is one of two Charlotte Hornets still playing in the NBA. The other is New York's Baron Davis.
