Larry Whitley, of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, will answer questions about local African American history.Details: 704-845-9200.Charlotte"Ethel Waters Exhibit: His Eye is on the Sparrow" is on display through March 31.Ethel Waters (1896-1977) began her career as a jazz singer in the 1920s and 1930s and went on to become an award-winning vocalist and star of stage and screen. In 1957, she began touring with the Billy Graham Crusades, inspiring thousands with her trademark song, "His Eye Is On The Sparrow."The exhibit features memorabilia and photos from her career. The exhibit is open 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Saturday at the Billy Graham Library, 4330 Westmont Drive, Charlotte.
