The March 14 event features a handful of stylish lines with Southern roots Marysia SWIM (and Bumby), Jane Pope Collection, Balboa and Troubadour. Dont for a second think this is typical Southern fashion its most certainly anything but.Marysia creator Maria Dobrzanska Reeves won the emerging designer competition at Charleston Fashion Week in 2009, catapulting her swimwear (and childrens line Bumby) into the spotlight.Jane Pope Cooper launched her Balboa jewelry line while living in Charlotte. By the time she moved to Charleston a few years later, her work had landed on the pages of Vogue. She now designs a second line, the Jane Pope Collection.Troubadours Lindsey Carter is no stranger to Charlotte.
