Fort Mill’s Red Ventures to hire 400

Fort Mill, S.C.-based Red Ventures is hiring again.

The internet marketing and sales company wants to bring in 400 inside sales professionals by July. Of those new jobs, 200 will be at the local headquarters. The rest will be at the company’s three other locations in San Antonio, Texas; Miami, Fla.; and Wilmington, N.C.

Inside sales positions at Red Ventures include base pay plus uncapped commissions, with the average sales professional earning between $40,000 - $65,000 a year, according to the company. Employees also receive full medical benefits and a matching company contribution to 401(k) plans.

Red Ventures employs more than 1,400 in its four locations, including more than 800 at the Fort Mill headquarters.

The company works with brand partners in the areas of entertainment, data and internet, small business solutions, security, energy and software services. Red Ventures acquired nine new brand partners last year, creating the need for new hires, according to the company.

The new jobs also are in addition to last year’s hiring of 483 – just shy of the goal of 500.

“We have significant hiring needs due to our unprecedented company growth; it’s a good problem to have,” said Elizabeth Persson, whose title with the company is “director of human capital.”

“Our biggest needs right now are in inside sales as we begin selling new products and services for some of the largest companies across the U.S.,” Persson said in a statement. “It’s a great time to be part of the RV team and we hope to find top talent as we embark on this massive hiring campaign.”
