Emily Maynard's turn-ons

Favorite places to eat: “I love Osso (1000 NC Music Factory Blvd.). Cowfish (4310 Sharon Road) is one of my favorites; I eat there on an almost daily basis – it’s kind of embarrassing. My daughter’s favorite is Nothing But Noodles. … I love Amelie’s. The salted caramel brownie makes me want to cry it’s so good.”

Favorite bar: “I’m not a super going-out, bar-kind-of girl. But I like more chill places … places with live music. Leroy Fox (705 S. Sharon Amity Road) right down the street from my house is really cool.”

Favorite place to take her daughter: “She loves Dish It Out, the place where you can go to paint pottery. We’re there a lot. I have a lot of painted bunny rabbits and glass figurines around my house. We love Monkey Joe’s. And there’s a place down next to Carowinds called Plaza Fiesta (3700 Avenue of the Carolinas, Fort Mill, S.C.).”

Favorite place to shop: “I love chezElle (532 Governor Morrison St.) over at Morrison. There’s a jewelry line here in Charlotte called Towne & Reese that I love. SouthPark mall obviously. All those shops over at Morrison I really like. Poole Shop (4010 Sharon Road).”

Favorite h obbies: “I haven’t been working a full-time job, but I teach a jewelry class at a middle school here in Charlotte and do different things through my church. … I’ve been taking photography classes and trying to learn to cook, just trying to figure out where my passions lie.”
