Myers Park High recently was named a repeat champion in the second N.C. Association for Scholastic Activities Scholastic Cup competition.
The school finished fourth in the N.C. Glee Club Competition the weekend of May 5 to overtake N.C. School of Science and Mathematics, 420 points to 410, and earned a top-five finish among NCASA member schools in nine of 12 competitions, winning titles in the State Chess Competition and Odyssey of the Mind. Ardrey Kell High was third with 275 points.
