Sixteen Charlotte Latin students qualified for recognition in the 2011-12 Duke University Talent Identification Programs 7th-Grade Talent Search based upon their scores on the SAT or ACT.
Two additional students also qualified to take part in the Academy for Summer Studies. More than 77,000 seventh-grade students nationwide participated in the program this year.
