Thursday
Want to be the next Emily Maynard? Well your chance is Thursday at Alive After Five. ABC’s “The Bachelor” is coming to cast for next season. They’ll be holding auditions from 5–9 p.m. inside Suite, perfect if you need a drink to garner some liquid courage or lose your common sense all together in order to audition.
Friday
There’s something about a five-star steakhouse serving street meat that sounds yummy. Taste of Charlotte is basically a massive picnic through the streets of uptown, featuring a wide array of local restaurants. It’s free, but you must buy tokens for food. Friday Live at the Factory, NC Music Factory’s remix of Alive After Five, with live national bands is held every Friday on the Fountain Plaza Stage (1000 NC Music Factory Blvd.), which you may recognize from an episode of “The Bachelorette.” This Friday the line-up is Los Lonely Boys with Chris Cook. 6–11 p.m. $5. Saturday
