THE REASON: A luncheon to benefit American Heart Association held at the Charlotte Convention Center.
THE BUZZ: Go Red For Women aims to shatter the silence by encouraging women to speak up about heart disease…Heather Waliga, media personality with Time Warner Cable’s News 14 Carolina, was the emcee for the Go Red For Women event…Macy’s, a national sponsor for Go Red For Women, provided shoes, dresses and accessories as props which were made into lovely centerpieces and decorations for the luncheon.
